BIOGRAPHY:

Amal Akhnoukh is a mosaic artist of Egyptian origin. Growing up in an exotic, rich and colourful world surrounded by artisans of all kinds has helped shape her artistic language and influence her style of creation.

 

With her artistic passion and entrepreneurship spirit, Amal has recently launched a small business in Cairo creating and selling mosaic artworks of all sizes and functions. Her many years of experience in mosaic art as well as the extensive workshops and courses that she took in Canada and Italy, has given her an added value and competitive advantage when creating unique pieces of mosaic art. 

 

Amal aspires to revive this rich and ancestral art through more creations, exhibitions, workshops and symposiums in Egypt and abroad and give it a place amongst the variety of contemporary artworks of today. Aiming to empower local artisans by providing them the opportunity to showcase their incredible talent, Amal aims to bring beauty, history, and a piece of Egyptian culture into people's homes and spaces.
